Advanced Java Software Engineer

Job Title:
Sr. Java Developer - Messaging SystemsWe are looking for an experienced Sr. Java Developer to join our team in designing, implementing and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Kafka Connect and messaging event streams.
About the Role:
- Develop high-quality Java applications utilizing Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud-based solutions on PCF and AWS.
- Work closely with NoSQL databases like Cassandra and MongoDB to select the most suitable technology for each project.
- Implement unit tests using JUnit and ensure code quality through continuous integration and delivery.
- Contribute to the development of expertise in OpenShift Kubernetes and non-relational document databases.
Key Responsibilities:
- 5-7 years of experience in Java, core Java, and advanced Java concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect and messaging event streams.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, and Cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology, estimation techniques, and key ceremonies.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Requirements:
- A strong understanding of software design patterns and principles.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
