To achieve our goal of shaking up the home decor industry with innovative solutions, we need a seasoned expert to lead our SEO efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • SEO Strategy Development:
    • Define and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to drive organic traffic, improve rankings, and boost conversions.
    • Develop long-term plans for on-page, off-page, and technical SEO tailored to D2C business goals.
    • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Team Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Lead, mentor, and manage the SEO team to achieve performance goals.
    • Collaborate with content creators, designers, developers, and marketing teams to align SEO efforts with broader marketing campaigns.
    • Provide training and knowledge-sharing sessions for the team and other stakeholders.
  • Content and Keyword Optimization:
    • Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for content and product optimization.
    • Work closely with the content team to produce SEO-friendly articles, blogs, and product descriptions.
    • Oversee the optimization of existing website content to align with SEO goals.
  • Technical SEO Management:
    • Conduct regular audits to identify and fix technical SEO issues (e.g., site speed, crawl errors, mobile usability).
    • Collaborate with developers to implement structured data, schema markup, and other technical enhancements.
    • Ensure the website is optimized for search engine crawling and indexing.
  • Link Building and Off-Page SEO:
    • Design and execute link-building strategies to strengthen the domain authority.
    • Monitor and manage backlinks, ensuring quality and relevance.
    • Foster partnerships and outreach efforts for guest posting and other off-page activities.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Track, analyze, and report on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, and others.
    • Generate actionable insights to refine strategies and improve ROI.
    • Set and monitor KPIs for organic growth, including traffic, rankings, and conversions.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, IT, or a related field.

5+ years of experience in SEO, with at least 2 years as a team lead. D2C or e-commerce experience is a strong plus.

Proven expertise in on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies.

Proficient in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, and others.

Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Search Console, and other reporting tools.

Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and website architecture as it relates to SEO.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Strong communication and leadership abilities.

$120,000 - $150,000 per year.
