Job Title: Senior Legal Executive

Location: Moradabad, India

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our Corporate Counsel team with a primary focus on property and real estate law.

The role involves end-to-end management of property transactions and conveyancing, including drafting, negotiation, due diligence, and compliance. While the core responsibilities will be centered on conveyancing and real estate, the role also provides exposure to other areas of legal work within the corporate counsel team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Draft, vet, and negotiate agreements, deeds, and documents for property acquisitions, rentals, and disposals.
  2. Provide legal support for property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes.
  3. Ensure compliance with local real estate laws, including RERA, municipal, and development authority regulations.
  4. Liaise with external counsels, government bodies, and regulatory authorities on property-related issues.
  5. Maintain accurate records and databases for all real estate transactions.
  6. Conduct thorough due diligence of properties including title verification and encumbrance checks.
  7. Stay updated with changes in real estate and property law and advise accordingly.

Requirements:

  1. LLB degree with 4–10 years of post-qualification experience.
  2. Strong exposure to real estate, property law, and conveyancing.
  3. Hands-on experience drafting and negotiating agreements and deeds.
  4. Working knowledge of RERA, municipal, and development authority regulations.
  5. Experience handling property registrations, title verification, stamp duty, and due diligence processes.
  6. Ability to liaise with government authorities and external counsel effectively.
  7. Strong stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.
  8. Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  9. Excellent English proficiency (verbal and written).
  10. Willingness to contribute to other legal workstreams beyond property/conveyance when required.
