Senior SAP Financials Expert

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the implementation and support of SAP FI systems in a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial processes, with a minimum of 10 years of experience working with SAP.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, customizing, configuring, and testing FI systems, while continually reviewing and improving SAP modules.

This role requires effective communication, leadership, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work independently and manage resources effectively.

  • Primary point of contact for enhancements, support, and project teams related to SAP FI/AA/AM/TRM.
  • Design, customize, configure, and test FI systems, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Work with clients to implement changes that improve business processes and problem management.
  • Drive and manage maintenance, support, enhancements, and projects effectively.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting).
  • Total 14+ years of experience in finance and accounting.
  • Minimum 8 years of SAP FI implementation and support experience.
  • Hands-on SAP configuration and process knowledge of FI, REFX for 8 years.
  • Minimum 5 years of domain experience in retail/CPP/FMCG industries.
  • Solid understanding of business processes and best practices around bookkeeping, accounts, financial statements, closure of books, depreciation, asset, IND_AS (Indian Accounting Standard), management, treasury, GAAP, IFRS, SOX, and Indian direct and indirect duties/taxes.

This is a full-time position based in Thane, requiring regular office attendance and adherence to a standard 5-day working schedule.
