As a Perception Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of AI-powered unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) systems.

The team is looking for an experienced engineer who can design, train, and deploy computer vision models for UAV platforms. Your work will focus on object detection, anomaly detection, electro-optical/infra-red fusion, and real-time inference on Jetson-class edge devices.

Key responsibilities include developing and deploying real-time computer vision models on Jetson devices, building change detection and anomaly detection pipelines for perimeter security and patrol missions, integrating electro-optical (EO) + infra-red (IR) sensor fusion models for day/night operations, and optimizing models for low-latency inference using TensorRT, DeepStream, CUDA.

  • Develop and deploy real-time computer vision models for object/person/vehicle detection, tracking, and re-identification on Jetson-class edge devices.
  • Build and integrate change detection and anomaly detection pipelines for perimeter security and patrol missions using machine learning algorithms.
  • Integrate EO (RGB) + IR (thermal) sensor fusion models for day/night operations to enhance the accuracy of UAV perception systems.
  • Optimize models for low-latency inference using various optimization techniques and tools such as TensorRT, DeepStream, and CUDA.

Requirements include 2-6 years of experience in AI/ML or Computer Vision engineering, strong background in Deep Learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), proficiency in object detection/tracking architectures (YOLOv8, Detectron2, EfficientDet, SORT/DeepSORT), familiarity with anomaly detection methods (autoencoders, clustering, unsupervised ML), hands-on experience with NVIDIA Jetson platform (TensorRT, DeepStream, CUDA), and strong programming skills in Python/C++. Additionally, prior projects in autonomous systems, robotics, or defense AI are highly desirable.
