Business Intelligence Developer Wanted

We are seeking a seasoned Business Intelligence Developer with expertise in Talend Open Studio to lead the design and implementation of complex ETL pipelines for an immediate contractual position. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

  • Design and optimize complex ETL pipelines using Talend Data Integration (TMC)
  • Develop advanced SQL queries, including CTEs, arrays, and window functions, for BigQuery
  • Script ETL processes using Python, automating and integrating with cloud data pipelines
  • Implement PostgreSQL PL/pgSQL functions, triggers, and query optimization techniques
  • Utilize Cloud GCP services, including Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataprep, and Google Cloud Storage
  • Manage version control using Git/GitHub workflows with branching, PR reviews, and CI/CD using Jenkins

Responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions
  • Designing and implementing ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data efficiently
  • Developing and maintaining database schema and ensuring data integrity
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies

The successful candidate will have:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in Business Intelligence development and ETL pipeline design
  • Strong technical skills in Talend, BigQuery, Python, PostgreSQL, and Cloud GCP services
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Experience working with agile methodologies and version control systems

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience with BigQuery ML and advanced performance optimization techniques
  • Familiarity with offline-first data solutions and advanced integration strategies
