About the Role

This role is a senior engineering position that requires significant expertise in system-on-chip (SoC) design, networking on chip (NoC) systems, and digital design. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interconnect protocols, coherency protocols, and virtualization.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading small groups of engineers and advising them on design evaluations, troubleshooting complex issues with NoCs, and developing innovative NoC systems and IP solutions. This role also involves working closely with other teams such as QPA, SoC, verification, physical design, and silicon validation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and participate in designing NoC systems and interconnects for various products
  • Evaluate and improve existing NoC designs to meet performance requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure NoC meets all performance requirements
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex issues with NoCs using debugging tools and methods
Requirements
  • 7-12 years of experience in SoC design or NoC systems
  • Strong knowledge of digital design, Verilog RTL coding, and synthesis
  • Familiarity with ARMv8/v9 CPU architecture and coherency protocols
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's or PhD preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in hardware engineering or related field
