Cloud Database Administrator Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Database Administrator to join our team.

This is an exciting opportunity for a fresher to learn and grow in the field of cloud database management.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in computer science or a related field, with familiarity in at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) and their database offerings.

Responsibilities include:

  • Database Management: Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud-hosted databases.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor database performance and availability using cloud-native tools.
  • Data Security: Ensure data security, backup, and recovery processes are implemented and adhered to.
  • Migration Support: Support migration of databases to the cloud from on-premises systems.
  • User Access Control: Assist in creating users, roles, and permission policies for database access.
  • Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot basic database issues with guidance from senior DBAs.
  • Documentation: Document procedures, configurations, and operational best practices.

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS / Azure / GCP) and their database offerings.
  • Knowledge of database backup, restore, and disaster recovery fundamentals.
  • Awareness of database security best practices.
  • Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
