Instrumentation and Control Automation Engineer

Job Summary:

Our organization seeks a skilled Instrumentation and Control Automation Engineer to oversee the operation of instrumentation and control systems at our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, as well as experience with various instruments such as flow meters, pressure sensors, level transmitters, analyzers, actuators, Pressure Relief Valves (PRVs), Flow Control Valves (FCVs), and electrical panel integration.

The successful candidate will also possess a strong understanding of Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), General Arrangement drawings (GA drawings), and layout drawings, as well as proficiency in configuring and commissioning flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret work plans and execute tasks efficiently according to site requirements.
  • Cable laying with necessary accessories in trenches and trays, including cable scheduling and routing drawings.
  • Perform glanding, termination, and loop/IO testing in the field.
  • Configure and commission flow and pressure data loggers and other instrumentation equipment.
  • Coordinate site team and consultant/client activities related to ICA works.
  • Implement and manage safety protocols to ensure zero injury results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering/Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in instrumentation and control automation engineering.
