Job Title: Data Migration Lead

As a seasoned tech leader with expertise in Java and Apache Spark, we are seeking a talented professional to lead our data migration team.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing and deploying cloud-based data solutions, overseeing the technical direction of projects, mentoring team members, and delivering scalable and efficient systems using cloud and big data technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Processing Systems Lead: Design, develop, and deploy scalable and reliable data processing systems using Java and Apache Spark in a cloud environment.
  • Big Data Architect: Architect and implement big data processing pipelines utilizing technologies such as Apache Spark and cloud-native services.
  • Serverless Application Developer: Develop and manage serverless applications and integrate them with cloud services to build efficient and maintainable solutions.
  • Container Orchestration Expert: Use container orchestration tools (e.g., Amazon EKS or equivalent) to manage microservices-based applications.
  • Workflow Orchestration Specialist: Design and implement workflow orchestration solutions (e.g., Apache Airflow) for managing complex data pipelines.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, data, and operations teams) to define technical requirements and ensure smooth integration across services.
  • Team Mentor: Mentor and guide development teams on Java best practices, cloud architecture, and data engineering principles.
  • Solution Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance and cost-efficiency of deployed solutions in cloud environments.
  • Tech Excellence Driver: Stay updated on emerging technologies, tools, and best practices to continuously drive technical excellence and innovation.
