We are seeking an accomplished Credit Expert to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing creditworthiness, monitoring client compliance, and contributing to the development of innovative lending products.

About the Role

The Credit Analyst/Credit Underwriter will play a crucial role in:

  • Conducting thorough financial analyses of clients and businesses to determine their creditworthiness.
  • Monitoring client compliance with credit terms and identifying potential risks.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and effective decision-making.
  • Providing insights and recommendations to management on key developments in the lending space.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Assisting Relationship Managers (RMs) in the end-to-end process, including credit underwriting, monitoring, documentation, sanctioning, meeting desired portfolio and TAT standards.
  • Supporting RMs/SRM in growing revenues, building asset book, and expanding client base.
  • Conducting detailed research on financial history, appraising prospective clients, and preparing CANs along with financial sheets.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar ARM/Credit underwriting role.
  • Exposure to working capital/supply chain finance lending products.
  • Relevant experience in Banking/NBFC industry.
  • Ability to crunch data, analyze, and present findings from financial statements & data sets.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, along with ability to present to senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
