Job Title: Hardware Design Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead hardware design functions to create high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for air conditioning products.
  • Plan, execute, and deliver hardware projects in alignment with business objectives.
  • Drive innovation in design processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
Required Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of power electronics, schematic capture, PCB design tools, and hardware simulation.
  • Familiarity with EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and reliability testing.
  • Design and review PCBs, BOMs for air conditioning control systems, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance, protection circuitry, and thermal management.
Primary Objectives:
  • Finalize hardware architecture for VRF/Residential AC's/Chiller/Commercial Refrigeration products.
  • Create hardware design specifications, including control logic, sensing, communication, and safety circuits.
  • Approve schematic designs and Bill of Materials (BOM) for each model/variant.
Design Verification & Validation Reports:
  • Functional test reports for control boards, inverter boards, and sensor interfaces.
  • EMI/EMC compliance test reports in accordance with HVAC and regional standards.
  • Thermal performance and reliability test documentation.
