Senior Hardware Specialist Position

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Hardware Specialist to contribute to our design team. This role will involve creating and developing sophisticated hardware systems, collaborating closely with other departments to deliver innovative solutions.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and develop intricate hardware systems, including PCBs, components, and mechanical interfaces.
  • Collaborate with software development teams to integrate hardware and software components.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Maintain technical documentation, including design guides, user manuals, and testing procedures.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide input on design improvements.

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Electrical, Electronic, Computer, Aerospace Engineering, or equivalent program.
  • At least 6-9 years of experience in the industrial or automotive sector (preferably TIER1).
  • Familiarity with embedded electronics design constraints, system/component design, EE architecture topologies, and safety.
  • Experience with vehicle bus communication protocols (ETH/CAN FD/LIN/LVDS) and troubleshooting tools.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design, test, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of thermal management for ECU embedded electronics.
  • Proficiency in Altium tool, Schematic Capture, and PCB Layout review.
  • Experience with high-complex multilayer layout design, PCB layer stack-up design, and PCB design rules.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with PI/SI.
  • Able to handle multiple expertise domains.
