The Role of the Logistics Officer

The Logistics Officer plays a critical role in ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation, storage, and delivery of SCG's products and materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate daily logistics operations, including transport and warehousing.
  • Monitor shipments and resolve delivery issues proactively.
  • Build and maintain relationships with third-party logistics providers.
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate logistics records.
  • Support initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to meet customer requirements.
Qualifications

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business.
  • 0–3 years of logistics or supply chain experience; new graduates are welcome.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with ERP or logistics software is an advantage.
