Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead the development of custom memory designs and architectures. This role requires hands-on experience in full-custom memory design, characterization, layout design, net-lister creation, and SRAM design verification at the compiler level.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in both design and layout aspects, including execution planning, quality assurance, Design for Manufacturing (DFM), and project health reporting. Familiarity with various memory architectures is essential, as well as experience in working on SRAM leaf-cell GDS from scratch to top-level integration.

Candidates should possess strong knowledge of physical verification flow debug tools, such as DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, and IR. Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification Flow experience are necessary, with Synopsys Custom Compiler experience being highly valued.

A good understanding of good layout practices in lower process nodes like 7nm and 5nm, as well as FinFET architecture and its challenges, is required. The ability to optimize layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness, perform debugging of silicon failures, and identify layout-related issues is crucial.

Additionally, creating detailed and optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler is an important responsibility. Experience in optimizing layouts for advanced technology nodes is also desired.
