VMware Automation Specialist Role

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Automation Specialist to manage our VMware vRealize Automation environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in VMware technologies, cloud automation, and infrastructure as code principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administration and Maintenance:
    • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot the VMware vRealize Automation platform and related components.
    • Monitor and optimize the vRA infrastructure for high availability, performance, and scalability.
  • Automation and Workflow Development:
    • Design, implement, and maintain automated workflows and blueprints using vRA and vRO.
    • Create and manage service catalog items, approval policies, and governance rules.
  • Integration and Customization:
    • Integrate vRA with third-party systems, such as ServiceNow, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform.
    • Develop custom scripts to enhance automation and integration capabilities.
  • Support and Troubleshooting:
    • Provide technical support for issues related to vRA, vRO, and associated VMware products.
    • Collaborate with other teams to resolve incidents and implement changes.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture designs, operational procedures, and workflows.
    • Provide training and knowledge sharing to team members and end-users.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and proven experience with VMware vRealize Automation and vRealize Orchestrator. Strong expertise in VMware vSphere, NSX, and other virtualization technologies is also required.
