Job Description

As a Project Engineer, you will oversee the execution of complex projects with high technical intensity. This involves coordinating across various teams to ensure successful project delivery.

  • You will supervise quality and timeliness of projects, ensuring seamless collaboration with multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage customer technical interfaces and related communication to build trust and reliability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee flawless project execution that meets customer needs.
Key Responsibilities

The following are key responsibilities for this role:

  1. Supervise quality and timeliness of projects, ensuring a solid connection with stakeholders.
  2. Manage Customer technical interfaces and related communication.
  3. Partner with cross-functional teams to guarantee flawless execution as per customer needs.
  4. Review and assess information received from ITO to start the job.
  5. Identify customer's requirements indicated in contractual technical specifications and ensure correct flow-down.
  6. Ensure proper understanding of technical Customer needs within the organization.
  7. Manage and schedule drawing lists to be submitted to Customers in accordance with Contractual obligations.
  8. Manage bills of material for assigned projects to meet contractual requirements and internal procedures.
  9. Support Engineering planning and issue resolution.
  10. Lead internal design activities, reviews, and technical decisions.
  11. Coordinate Design Reviews and Project Review processes with the engineering team.
  12. Lead project risk mitigation processes and abatement plans through design reviews.
  13. Attend customer meetings (kick-off, coordination review, close-out, HAZOPs, design reviews) and action plans to resolve open points.
  14. Responsible for the drawings/document quality issued to customers during the job.
  15. Lead initiatives to reach quality targets during job execution.
  16. Attend quality meetings with customers and third parties involved, supporting to review project quality control plans (QCP/ITP).
  17. Lead the engineering team to customer issue resolution during the execution phase.
  18. Develop action plans to respond to issues/problems, identifying clear owners, due dates, and innovative solutions.
  19. Manage and control engineering hours allocated to the job and its spent.
  20. Raise, manage, and approve Technical Customer Change Orders.
  21. Manage resources, productivity, financial targets, and project KPIs.
  22. Review test specifications and attend machinery tests with suppliers and/or clients.
  23. Support different company functions involved in assigned jobs.
  24. Supervise technical documentation regarding quality and time schedules, issuing as per projects' needs.
  25. Present project plans, technical roadmaps, risks, and recommendations to senior business leaders within technical spaces.
