Senior Economic Analyst

At the forefront of data-driven decision making, we seek a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Scientist to join our economic research and data analytics team.
- This role offers the opportunity to work on high-impact projects, including:
- Forecasting trends in economic indicators;
- Developing risk scenario models;
- Analyzing macroeconomic data;
- Creating business intelligence reports.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in economics and data science, with hands-on experience in AI, machine learning, data visualization, Python, and advanced analytics tools such as Power BI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Contributing to economic forecasting, macroeconomic research, thought leadership, risk scenario development, and financial market analysis;
- Collections, managing, and analyzing key datasets to generate actionable insights;
- Creating intuitive data visualizations to convey complex findings to clients and internal stakeholders;
- Developing and maintaining databases, data pipelines, and visualization tools;
- Analyzing trends and patterns in complex data sets, troubleshooting data issues, and interpreting findings;
- Designing and managing advanced reports, analytics, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions using Power BI.
Requirements for this role include:
- A Bachelor's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Applied Economics; or in Data Science, Statistics with advanced coursework in Economics, or a related field;
- Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization platforms;
- Hands-on experience with Python and Microsoft Excel;
- Strong attention to detail, with the ability to synthesize large datasets, distill key takeaways, and communicate results clearly;
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, share insights, and contribute to team efforts;
- Two or more years of experience in a relevant role such as economic research or data analysis.
