Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs associated with technology upgrades and deployments.

Main Responsibilities

  • Moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments.
  • Contribute to large-scale planning of strategies.
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures.
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients' needs while leveraging a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals.
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.

Required Skills

  • 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python, Spark (Apache Spark or Pyspark), big query (gcp) and UNIX experience software enterprise application development and uses continuous integration and delivery when developing code.
  • Experience of banking/financial technology domain will be preferred.

  • Works with engineering manager, product owner, and team to ensure that the product is delivered with quality, on time, and within budget.
  • Works with internal IT teams to coordinate project interlocks and deployments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills should be able to work in global development environment.
