Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a GIS Data Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting geospatial data to support informed decision-making.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Data Collection and Management: Search, collect, process, and manage large datasets, including GIS data, satellite imagery, and other spatial data sources.
  • Validate and ensure the accuracy, quality, and completeness of spatial data
  • ETL operations: ETL operations between GIS applications/database using Esri Desktop or Server.
  • GIS Analysis and Mapping: Conduct spatial analysis, map creation, and geospatial model development to aid various projects and initiatives.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency through quality checks and resolution of data discrepancies using ArcGIS Data Reviewer.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4+ Years of experience in Data Specialist role.
  • Knowledgeable with various ESRI products - ArcGIS Enterprise, Image Analyst Extension, Data Reviewer Extension.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to identify, research, and resolve issues proactively and provide recommendations to business partners, peers, and various levels of management.
  • Working knowledge on imagery-based data creation on Esri platform.
  • Master's degree in RS, GIS, Geoinformatics, or a related field.
