Sr. Software Architect Role: A challenging position for a skilled software engineer to lead the development of our global messaging platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead technical design and implementation of our global messaging platform, including architecture and solution development.
  • Perform hands-on architecture working closely with technical architects and governance teams.
  • Analyze business features and user stories with the Product Owner to support design and build activities.
  • Prioritize features and manage technical requirements based on industry trends and known issues.
  • Support integration and performance tests, and provide demos to stakeholders.
  • Participate in peer code reviews and make deliberate design decisions.
  • Enable deployment, support, and monitoring of software across environments.
  • Develop deep understanding of tie-ins with other systems and platforms.
  • Manage team and stakeholders through ongoing product releases.
  • Mentor junior engineers and communicate with stakeholders at the appropriate level.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field required, advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience using Java, Spring, Restful APIs, Redis, Kafka, and cloud technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, microservices, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
  • Strong application architecture and design experience, preferably in Agile environments.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
