Job Description:

This is a full-time role for an ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Developer responsible for designing, deploying and managing ETL processes that integrate data from various sources. As part of our team, you will work with clients to architect and implement data pipelines using Informatica and other tools.

Daily Tasks:

  • Designing and deploying scalable ETL pipelines to process and transform large datasets.
  • Performing data modeling and ensuring data quality through SQL queries, optimization and management across systems.
  • Implementing and optimizing data models following data warehousing concepts, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema and Slowly Changing Dimensions.
  • Developing data solutions and automation scripts using Python programming language.
  • Collaborating with data analysts, data scientists and stakeholders to deliver reliable datasets and insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL (query optimization, stored procedures, performance tuning).
  • Excellent knowledge of ETL development using Informatica and strong understanding of data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficient in Python programming for data processing and automation.
  • Practical experience working with cloud services, especially GCP.
  • Understanding of data governance, data quality and performance best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
