
Upstream Planning Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled individual to manage the upstream planning process, ensuring timely material availability and optimal stock levels across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities:- MRP Execution: Execute Master Production Schedule (MPS) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to guarantee on-time delivery of materials and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Supplier Management: Coordinate with suppliers for delivery commitments, address MRP exceptions, and manage Purchase Requisitions (PR) to Purchase Orders (PO) conversion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with planning leaders, logistics, and warehouse teams to resolve stock discrepancies, improve replenishment efficiency, and optimize the supply chain.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor supplier performance, track root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce stock discrepancies, backorders, and shortages.
Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of MRP, MPS, and supply chain management principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Proficiency in supply chain digital tools and systems.
