Key Role in Cash Application and Deduction Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Manager. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for maintaining B2B collection portfolios within business standards, resolving all aspects of outstanding receivables, and achieving collection metrics.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with experience in O2C involving collections, dispute resolution, AR reconciliations, billing, and write-offs. They will also possess intermediate or higher level MS Excel proficiency, including creating pivot tables, lookups, and conditional formatting for reporting purposes.

This is a core Finance & Accounting role that requires the ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and collaborate with internal partners to resolve unpaid balances. The successful candidate will have a Commerce degree (B.com/M.com), Accounting, Finance, or related field, and 4+ years of experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining B2B collection portfolios within business standards
  • Resolving all aspects of outstanding receivables
  • Achieving collection metrics
  • Reconciling payment applications
  • Providing bad debt reserve recommendations
  • Responding timely to individual and shared mailboxes
  • Communicating effectively with internal and external customers
  • Providing aging reports and other data requested to business users
  • Collaborating with internal partners to resolve unpaid balances
  • Working independently and prioritizing workload

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Commerce degree (B.com/M.com), Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 4+ years of experience in O2C involving collections, dispute resolution, AR reconciliations, billing, and write-offs
