Accountant for Finance and IT Companies

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in the IT/Software export industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Record daily accounting entries including invoices, receipts, payments, and expenses.
  • Manage vendor invoices, payment tracking, and reconciliations with accuracy.
  • Assist in TDS payment, Softex filing, and GST working under senior accountant's guidance.
  • Maintain books of accounts in Zoho Books (India) and support with QuickBooks (US entity) where required.
  • Prepare and reconcile bank statements, including foreign client payments (USD/EUR) for export transactions.
  • Support month-end closing activities and prepare audit-ready documentation.
  • Coordinate with HR team and process payroll using payroll software.
  • Ensure records are updated for statutory filings, external audits and other compliance and reporting needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or commerce.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and statutory compliance (preferably IT/ITES industry).
  • Proficiency in Zoho Books (mandatory).
  • Exposure to QuickBooks and automated vendor payment tools will be an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently on day-to-day accounting and support senior accountants in compliance activities.
