The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, components, and products that meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical systems, components, and products using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks Electrical).
- Create detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts.
- Select appropriate electrical components based on project requirements and specifications.
- Build and test prototypes of electrical systems and components, identifying and resolving design issues and optimizing performance.
- Ensure that electrical designs comply with safety standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC, UL) and address potential safety hazards.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of electrical designs, including BOMs (Bills of Materials), schematics, and technical specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Work to optimize the cost-effectiveness of electrical designs while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
