Job Description:
Prism Consulting Engineer (India) Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design Engineer specializing in Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC, and ICT detailed design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex infrastructure projects such as airports, metro systems, railways, tunnels, large commercial complexes, and other major developments.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and oversee the detailed design and engineering of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) systems including Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, HVAC, and ICT.
Develop innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions for complex projects.
Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system design for large-scale infrastructure projects.
Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of MEP systems.
Conduct technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for project designs.
Ensure designs comply with local and international codes, standards, and regulations.
Guide and mentor junior engineers and design teams to ensure high-quality project execution.
Utilize latest design software and tools for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
Support tendering, procurement, and construction activities as required.
Key Requirements:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in detailed design for complex projects like airports, metros, railways, tunnels, and large infrastructure developments.
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, ETAP, Dialux, HAP, and other relevant tools.
Strong knowledge of international design codes and standards (e.g., NBC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE, BS, IEC, IS Codes, etc.).
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a detail-oriented approach.
Ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.
