Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). They will work closely with our development teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and security for cloud applications.
This role requires strong expertise in automation, Unix-based systems, and scripting using Bash, Python, and PowerShell. The ideal candidate will also have proficiency in infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning and managing Oracle Cloud resources.
Key Responsibilities:- PaaS Environment Development and Management: Design, build, and maintain PaaS environments on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), ensuring scalability, reliability, and security for cloud applications.
- Infrastructure Automation & Scripting: Automate infrastructure operations using Bash, Python, and PowerShell scripting, along with Terraform to streamline Oracle Cloud resource provisioning and management.
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE): Apply SRE principles to improve the reliability, availability, and performance of cloud services. Proactively identify and resolve system issues, and ensure systems are highly available by automating routine tasks such as monitoring, alerting, and incident response.
- Strong Expertise: Automation, Unix-based systems, and scripting using Bash, Python, and PowerShell.
- Proficiency: Infrastructure automation using Terraform for provisioning and managing Oracle Cloud resources.
- Experience: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Cloud Engineer, or related field with minimum 3 years of experience and focus on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Hands-on Experience: GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions for building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
