Highly Skilled System Reliability Engineer Wanted

We are seeking an experienced and skilled SRE professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and hands-on experience with tools and coding.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $120,000-$180,000 per annum, based on industry standards and location.
About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled SRE professional with excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for driving automation and uplifting application monitoring capabilities. The successful candidate will thrive in an incident response environment, performing post-mortem analysis and designing and implementing secured solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Experience in software engineering and hands-on experience with tools and coding as part of your day-to-day activities.
- Experience with CI/CD toolset and demonstrated cloud experience.
- Passionate about driving automation and uplifting application monitoring capability.
- Well-versed in reviewing code developed by other engineers and providing feedback to ensure best practices.
- Thriving in incident response environments, performing post-mortem analysis and designing and implementing secured solutions.
- Measuring and optimizing system performance with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward.
- Taking ownership of initiatives and assets and following up to provide highest quality of customer service.
- Proven experience in migrating legacy to cloud infrastructure.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
- Container technology, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS, AWS ECS.
- Excellent understanding of SLA, SLO, and SLI and its implementation.
- Familiarity with different deployment strategies like blue/green, canary, etc.
Requirements:
- Broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks.
- Proficient in one programming language (e.g., Java, C#, Golang, Python).
- Any Git tool for source control. Build tools like TeamCity or Jenkins and experience with deployment tooling like Octopus or similar.
- Proficient in AWS or one cloud offering and understand SRE Practices.
- Solid understanding of DevSecOps environment and landscape.
- Knowledge and experience of IaC toolset (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform).
- Good knowledge of OS - Linux and PowerShell scripting, system design thinking.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
