Backend Developer

We're looking for a skilled developer to build scalable web/mobile application backend architecture. This role demands expertise with Node.js, Firebase, and MongoDB, focusing on building reliable high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own the entire backend architecture from planning to deployment.
  • Develop user authentication and authorization using industry best practices.
  • Implement logic algorithms and filters.
  • Build a real-time messaging system with Firebase delivery/read receipts.
  • Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for push notifications.
  • Design and manage MongoDB schema optimized for matchmaking and chat use cases.
  • Ensure secure tokenized API access using HTTPS role-based access controls.
  • Handle media uploads securely via cloud storage.
  • Implement analytics hooks for user actions behavior tracking events.
  • Build admin APIs for moderation reporting flagging systems.
  • Monitor maintain API performance database health error logs uptime metrics.
  • Collaborate with DevOps to set up CI/CD monitoring auto-scaling backend infrastructure Docker PM2 or cloud functions.
Required Skills:
  • 3+ years' experience in backend development Node.js Firebase MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of token-based authentication security practices.
  • Experience building real-time chat messaging systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud storage services.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD monitoring application scaling.
