Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned technical project manager to lead our software development and technical projects.

This individual will be responsible for guiding and coaching technical teams on Agile/Scrum practices and values, ensuring effective application in software development and technical projects. The successful candidate will facilitate all Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, with a focus on technical outcomes and goals.

The ideal candidate will assist the team in self-organization and cross-functionality, specifically helping them to address and resolve technical challenges and dependencies. They will collaborate with the product owner and stakeholders to maintain the backlog and release plans, ensuring the team is working on the highest priority items.

A strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical project management is essential. Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar, as well as knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code, is also required.

In addition, the ideal candidate will have familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software architectures (microservices, serverless). Advanced Agile certifications, such as Advanced Certified ScrumMaster (A-CSM) or Professional ScrumMaster (PSM), are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide and coach technical teams on Agile/Scrum practices and values
  • Facilitate all Scrum events, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
  • Assist the team in self-organization and cross-functionality
  • Collaborate with the product owner and stakeholders to maintain the backlog and release plans
  • Identify and remove technical impediments

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master or project manager in a technical environment for at least 2 years
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical project management
  • Experience with Agile tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern software architectures (microservices, serverless)
