Network Security Engineer

 

In this position, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing network security solutions to protect our digital assets.

Your primary responsibility will be to architect and deploy secure network configurations, ensuring the integrity of our cloud infrastructure. This includes planning and executing the deployment of firewalls, VPNs, and other security measures to safeguard our systems against potential threats.

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, firewalls, tunneling, and hybrid cloud connectivity. Hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform (GCP or AWS preferred) is essential, as well as expertise in Terraform or CloudFormation.

A strong foundation in networking fundamentals is also necessary for success in this position. You should be familiar with various security protocols and technologies, such as SSL/TLS, IPsec, and DNSSEC, as well as cloud-specific security services like IAM and Cognito.

As a Network Security Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential security risks, develop incident response plans, and participate in regular security audits.
