Project Lead for Complex Technology Initiatives

The role entails leading the delivery of complex technology projects, ensuring timely completion, within budget, and meeting customer requirements.

  • Significant experience in managing product and software engineering projects.
  • Able to connect with customers, understand their needs, and translate them into project requirements.

This involves establishing a strong engineering team based on respect, empathy, and exceptional engineering practices such as:

  • Overseeing end-to-end development and deployment of GenAI/LLM-based solutions from use case discovery to production rollout across business functions.
  • Pursuing diverse solutions while respecting opinions.
  • Partnering with principal engineers to deliver best-in-class products and solutions to customers.
  • Delighting customers through high-quality solutions delivered through robust software engineering principles.
  • Breadth of experience covering diverse customer verticals and/or different businesses.
  • Able to stitch complete workflows that enable customers to accelerate their business through demonstration of understanding business needs.
  • Strong programming background in one or more languages – Node JS/Java/Python, React.js/Angular.
  • Experience in cloud architecture and technology.
  • In-depth experience with application/front-end stack, middle-layer, backend stack. Working with data from ingestion to dashboards is beneficial.
  • Anchoring engineering teams as the go-to-person to understand issues on the ground to help engineers become un-stuck.
  • Strong foundation of agile ways of working.

You'll be expected to have:

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in project management, at least 5+ years in a technical or IT-focused environment.
  • Led end-to-end development and deployment of GenAI/LLM-based solutions, from use case discovery to production rollout, across business functions.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time, within scope, and on budget.
  • Strong understanding of software development processes, methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall), and tools.
  • Experience working with technical teams, understanding system architectures, software engineering, and infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with development platforms and technologies such as cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), databases, and APIs.
  • Able to motivate and guide cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Able to make decisions based on data and insights and drive issues to resolution.
  • Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project, Trello).
  • Familiarity with development tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker).
