Production Specialist

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Production Specialist to join our team.

About the Role:

The Production Specialist will be responsible for ensuring production meets schedule, managing resources, monitoring progress, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires a deep understanding of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure Production on Schedule: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet production deadlines and ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Manage Resources: Allocate and manage resources effectively to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Monitor Production Progress: Track and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Maintain Quality Standards: Implement quality control measures to ensure high-quality products.
  • Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance: Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to environmental regulations.
  • Manage Inventory Levels: Optimize inventory levels to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 to 15 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of production processes and procedures, including welding, assembly, and testing.

  • Understanding of quality control and safety regulations in the rail industry.
