Key Role: System Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned collaboration systems specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in maintaining and optimizing collaboration systems, including preventive and corrective maintenance, capacity planning, and scalability.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and optimize collaboration systems ensuring seamless communication and data exchange between teams.
  • Record and manage changes, configurations, incidents, problems, and processes to ensure smooth system operation.
  • Implement security protocols and respond to failures or performance issues to safeguard system integrity.
  • Produce detailed reports on system performance, capacity, availability, and security for senior management review.
  • Develop technical documentation and collaborate with cross-functional teams on ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee outsourced services to ensure optimal system functionality.
  • Install, configure, integrate, and test new system components and applications to enhance overall system performance.
  • Enhance automation scripts and workflows to streamline system operations and improve efficiency.
  • Adhere to industry best practices and quality assurance standards to ensure system reliability and scalability.
  • Perform maintenance or upgrades with minimal business impact, including on-call duty to ensure continuous system availability.
  • Analyze systems and participate in design and engineering projects to identify areas for improvement.
  • Configure prototypes, deliver products, and manage solution implementation and vendor performance to meet project objectives.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5-7+yrs technology support experience with a focus on collaboration tools.
  • 5+ years of experience in Administration and implementation of Collaboration Tools with emphasis on Microsoft suite administration and Collaboration Security frameworks.
  • Extensive experience using Powershell, PowerBI, APIs, Webservices, Python, C++, JavaScript, Power Platform to drive system optimization and automation.
  • Ability to foster a collaborative and constructive atmosphere, exhibiting optimism in challenging situations.
  • Capacity to decompose complex problems into manageable components, offering succinct solutions.
  • 4+yrs Experience building efficiency workflows to deliver desirable outcomes.
  • Successful track record in working on multi-functional team projects with a focus on collaboration and integration.
  • Knowledge of other Collab platforms for systems integration and automation support.
