Procurement Specialist Job Description

This role involves driving strategic sourcing across specific markets, collaborating with procurement colleagues at all levels, and ensuring delivery of services and closure of issues raised by stakeholders.

  • Engage with markets and suppliers to deliver high-quality services and resolve issues promptly.
  • Responsible for achieving key performance indicators (KPIs) in every cluster: sourcing savings, cash management, catalogue utilization, and preferred supplier utilization.
  • Drive supplier performance through robust governance and collaboration with market procurement, engineering, and third-party service providers to review KPIs.
  • Operationalize controls designed by the operational excellence team and ensure strict adherence to these controls.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree or MBA or similar qualification.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years managerial experience in finance, procurement, supply chain, or capital expenditure maintenance, repair, and operations procurement.
  • Key skills: sourcing, procurement experience, analytical skills, root cause analysis, leadership, and stakeholder influencing skills.
