Job Description

In this role as an Autonomous Vehicles Software Architect, you will help build robust solutions for using ubiquitous navigation maps and crowd-sourced maps in our driving stack.

You will design and build accurate solutions for map-enhanced autonomous driving, localize to and lane plan with map data to provide a precise model of the environment around the car, and ensure our algorithms work well on large amounts of real and synthetic data in diverse environments.

You will also write safe and efficient real-time code in C++, utilizing algorithmic parallelism offered by GPGPU programming in CUDA, and productize all software for real-world deployment to consumer cars following automotive quality and safety standards (MISRA, ISO26262).

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of proven experience in computer vision, 3D geometry, mapping, localization, lane planning, or related technologies
  • Outstanding communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-team and work in a tightly-knit team
  • Meticulous craftsmanship of software in modern C++
  • Solid foundation in linear algebra and geometric computer vision

Salary and Benefits
