Job Description

As a Senior Financial Operations Manager at Technodeed, you will be responsible for overseeing various accounting and finance functions related to US operations. Your expertise in US accounting practices, proficiency in financial software, and strong analytical skills will contribute to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Manage the end-to-end AP process, including vendor invoice processing, expense reimbursements, and payment disbursement. Ensure accurate coding, proper documentation, and adherence to company policies and US accounting standards.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Monitor customer accounts, prepare invoices, and manage the AR process. Follow up on outstanding payments, resolve billing discrepancies, and maintain healthy customer relationships. Prepare and analyze aging reports to ensure timely collection of receivables.
  • General Ledger (GL): Maintain the accuracy and integrity of the GL by recording all financial transactions and performing monthly reconciliations. Prepare journal entries, accruals, and adjustments. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
  • Timesheet and Payroll: Oversee the timesheet management process, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies. Collaborate with HR to process payroll accurately and on time, including tax withholding, benefits deductions, and compliance with US payroll regulations.
  • US Consultant Management: Manage relationships with US-based consultants, ensuring timely payment processing and adherence to contract terms. Collaborate with project managers to track consultant hours, validate timesheets, and manage consultant onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Contract Management: Review and analyze contract terms and conditions, ensuring compliance with company policies and US legal requirements. Maintain contract databases, track renewals, and assist in contract negotiations.
  • Invoicing: Generate and review client invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contract terms. Collaborate with project teams to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
  • Financial Software and Tools: Utilize financial software such as ADP, QuickBooks, and Ciepal to perform accounting tasks, generate financial reports, and ensure data accuracy. Troubleshoot software issues and provide support to finance team members.
  • Compliance and Audit: Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary financial data, documentation, and support. Ensure compliance with US accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in US accounting and finance roles, with a focus on AP, AR, GL, aging reports, timesheet management, payroll, and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of US accounting principles, regulations, and tax requirements.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as ADP, QuickBooks, and Ciepal.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in handling confidential and sensitive financial information with integrity and professionalism.
