About People's Growth HR Solutions:

We are a fast-paced, team-oriented organization seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Operations Manager to join our finance team.

Salary Range: ₹1,500,000 - ₹2,500,000 per annum

Job Description: As the Chief Financial Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing our accounting activities, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and corporate policies. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Close Process: Manage the monthly financial close process, ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded, reviewing journal entries, account balance reconciliations, and report preparation.
  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies and procedures, including the review and implementation of process and system changes.
  • System Efficiencies: Focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices.
  • Strategic Projects: Participate in strategic financial projects, including upgrades and implementation of ERP software.
  • Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with internal control policies.
  • Audit and Compliance: Collaborate with external auditors to ensure successful audit results and compliance.
  • Chart of Accounts: Responsible for hierarchy and scalability in chart of accounts and accuracy in the general ledger and financial statements.
  • Statutory Accounting: Analyze the effect of statutory accounting practices and studies regulations and guidance to ensure correct application of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Journal Entries and Account Analyses: Prepare detailed journal entries and account analyses.
  • Tax Returns: Assist with compilation of information for preparation of tax returns.
  • Team Management: Supervise a team of Accountants and Senior Accountants to ensure they're motivated and provided proper support to meet their job duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
  • 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years of management experience and experience working in infrastructure companies.
  • Strong experience using accounting software and data analytics.
  • Highly-effective team management.
