Key Merchandising Position

The ideal candidate will be a key member of our merchandising team, responsible for managing the end-to-end merchandising process in woven garments.

This role involves strong coordination, cost management knowledge, and the ability to deliver products that meet buyer specifications, quality standards, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with design teams to develop seasonal collections as per customer requirements.
  • Develop samples, negotiate prices, and confirm orders with buyers.
  • Manage material orders according to timeline, focusing on improving budget and costs.
  • Exhibit exceptional attention to detail, work independently, and adapt to changing environments and challenges.
  • Effectively handle small and high-value businesses.
  • Maintain strong communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Possess technical knowledge of woven garment manufacturing, including shirts, jackets, bottoms, etc.
  • Demonstrate leadership and management experience.
  • Achieve high levels of ownership and commitment to job responsibilities for result-driven achievements.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, Fashion Technology, or equivalent.
  • 1-8 years of experience as a Merchandiser in a woven garment factory, preferably with buyer handling experience.
  • Strong understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and ERP/MIS systems.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet strict deadlines.
