Product Design Specialist

We are seeking a skilled product design specialist to contribute to the development of innovative mechanical systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Meet with vendors and cross-functional teams to determine product applications and requirements.
  • Collaborate with project leads to define project scope and objectives.
  • Conduct research to inform design and engineering methodologies required for product development.
  • Develop and execute detailed product designs using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Perform simulations and experiments to virtually test and refine product designs.
  • Oversee the development and manufacturing of physical prototypes for testing and validation.
  • Document design processes, iterations, and test analytics.
  • Liaise with designers, engineers, and manufacturers to ensure design integrity and consistency.
  • Prepare technical reports, design specifications documents, and user manuals.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a product design specialist.
  • Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and CATIA.
  • Sound knowledge of design principles and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Prior experience in design engineering of meter mix machines, dispensing equipment, pumps, and hand tools is preferred.
