Job Title: Memory Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced memory design engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in full custom memory design and architectures, including characterization, layout design, net-listers, and complete SRAM design verification at the compiler level.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Creating and implementing execution plans, design quality plans, DFMEA, and project health reports.
  • Reporting any risks and mitigation strategies.

The key qualifications for this role include:

  • Good knowledge of different types of memory architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with SRAM leafcell GDS from scratch to top-level integration.
  • Expertise in working on memory layout design for advanced nodes (7nm/5nm/3nm).
  • Proficiency in various physical verification flow debug tools, such as DRC, LVS, DFM, PERC, ERC, EM, and IR.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso layout editor and Caliber Physical Verification Flow.
  • Synopsys Custom Compiler experience is highly desirable.
  • Understanding and working knowledge of good layout practices in lower process nodes (7nm and 5nm).
  • Expertise in working on FinFET architecture and challenges like variability and manufacturability.
  • Expertise in addressing process-dependent effects like electro-migration (EM), IR drop, and optimizing layouts for yield enhancement and manufacturing robustness.
  • Creating detailed and optimized physical layouts for memory cells, arrays, and peripheral circuits using tools like Cadence Virtuoso or Synopsys Custom Compiler.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
