About the Role

MarkLogic Developer required to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in MarkLogic, XQuery, Optic Query, and related frameworks. This is a hands-on role where you will contribute to mission-critical financial systems ensuring scalability, efficiency, and seamless integration with cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities :- Design and develop MarkLogic-based solutions.
- Implement advanced querying using XQuery, Optic Query, and Semantic Technologies.
- Develop using MarkLogic DataHub framework and Apache NiFi.
- Architect, build, and manage REST APIs and integrations with external systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams for CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated deployments.
- Work with cloud platforms for hosting and managing enterprise-scale MarkLogic solutions.
- Apply best practices in performance optimization, security, and data modeling.
- Participate in peer code reviews, provide mentorship, and ensure adherence to coding standards.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues related to MarkLogic applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications :- 8+ years total experience, with 5+ years in MarkLogic development.
- Strong expertise in MarkLogic, XQuery, Optic Query, and Semantic Technologies.
- Hands-on experience with DataHub framework and Apache NiFi.
- Strong experience in designing and developing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) for application deployment.
- Working knowledge of Git, Gradle, IDEs, and CI/CD processes.
- Exposure to DevOps methodologies and experience in agile teams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
