We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Scientist II, Protein Biology.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of antibodies and validation of antibody products.
- They will work closely with the research team to design and execute experiments to meet program goals and schedules.
- Experimental planning and execution, including the development and optimization of protein assays.
- Cellular and molecular biology techniques for protein characterization, including cell treatments, tissue/cell lysate preparation, sub-cellular fractionation, immunoprecipitation, and microscopy.
- Immunoassays, including Western blot, immunocytochemistry, immunohistochemistry, ELISA, ChIP, and Flow cytometry.
- A Master's degree with over 5 years experience or PhD with over 2 years experience in cell/molecular biology, immunology, biotechnology, or biochemistry.
- Extensive experience and familiarity with protein assays, biochemical, cellular, and molecular biology techniques, immunoassays, and communication of research data.
- Project or work experience in support of relevant skills such as publications, project reports, or thesis work.
- Proficient in MS Office applications such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and has strong statistical knowledge and familiarity with statistical software such as Prism.
