  • We are seeking a skilled professional to manage, monitor and support our Google Cloud Platform environment. This role involves ensuring the availability, performance, security and reliability of GCP services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. ">

  2. Administer and support GCP infrastructure services (Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, etc.).

    ">

  3. Monitor system health, performance and availability using GCP monitoring tools (Stackdriver, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring).

    ">

  4. Manage user access and security policies via IAM and service accounts.

    ">

  5. Perform incident management, troubleshooting and root cause analysis for GCP services.

    ">

  6. Deploy, configure and manage networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancers, Firewalls) within GCP.

    ">

  7. Automate operational tasks using Terraform / Deployment Manager / scripts.

    ">

  8. Support backup, recovery and disaster recovery (DR) solutions on GCP.

    ">

  9. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams for application deployment and integration.

    ">

  10. Ensure compliance with security and governance policies.

    ">

  11. Create and maintain documentation, runbooks and SOPs for GCP operations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

">

  • Strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) administration and support.

    ">

  • Hands-on with GCP services: Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, Networking, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, GKE, Pub/Sub.

    ">

  • Good knowledge of Linux/Windows system administration.

    ">

  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.) for automation.

    ">

  • Understanding of networking (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls, VPC peering).

    ">

  • Experience with monitoring, logging and alerting tools (Stackdriver / Cloud Monitoring).

    ">

  • Knowledge of Cloud Security best practices, IAM and compliance.

    ">

  • Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Management).

    ">

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Terraform / Ansible / Deployment Manager.

    ">

  • Exposure to Kubernetes (GKE) and container management.

    ">

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

    ">

  • GCP Certification (e.g., Associate Cloud Engineer or Professional Cloud Architect) is a plus.
