Job Title: Cloud Infrastructure SpecialistOur team is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to deploy, configure, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions using OpenStack. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective solutions.Key Responsibilities
  • Deploy and manage OpenStack environments using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Maintain Ceph storage clusters for high availability and optimal performance.
  • Manage block storage (Cinder), file storage (Manila), and object storage (such as Ceph RGW/S3, Swift).
  • Optimize OpenStack control plane and compute resources for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Manage and troubleshoot containerized applications using Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or OpenShift.
  • Develop automation scripts and playbooks using Ansible for infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
  • Integrate OpenStack environments with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
  • Collaborate on cloud-native solution design and implementation.
  • Participate in CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure changes and application deployments.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure designs, configurations, and operational procedures.
  • Support capacity planning, incident management, and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of hands-on OpenStack experience, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proven experience deploying OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible and TripleO.
  • Relevant 3-5 years of experience with containerization technologies, primarily Docker.
  • Relevant 2-3 years of experience with Kubernetes and/or OpenShift administration.
  • Ceph storage setup and management expertise.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible for automation and configuration management.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems administration (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu).
  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.
  • RHCE certified.
Good-to-Have Skills
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools: Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices.
