Job Title: Health Safety Expert

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health, safety, and environmental management.

This role involves leading HSE initiatives, developing comprehensive plans, and providing training sessions to ensure a safe working environment across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement HSE strategies, welfare plans, emergency response procedures, and site-specific HSE instructions.
  • Lead a team of HSE personnel to promote a positive safety culture.
  • Conduct awareness sessions on relevant HSE procedures applicable to the SOW.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in HSE in construction, fabrication, installation, and/or commissioning projects/operations in the oil and gas petrochemical industries.
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline.
  • NEBOSH IGC or equivalent certification.
  • Lead Auditor ISO 45001/ISO 14001 or equivalent certifications.
  • Incident Investigation Techniques certificate.
  • Additional HSE trainings and certifications will be an added advantage.

Requirements include:

  • Strong understanding of HSE issues, practices, and behavioral aspects in the Oil & Gas EPC business.
  • Solid understanding of the HSE Management System and HSE legislative requirements.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with good verbal and written skills.
