Accounting Professional Opportunity

This is a full-time remote accounting role where the individual will be responsible for preparing financial statements, managing the general ledger, performing account reconciliations, assisting with budget and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

The role also involves analyzing financial data, preparing tax returns, and providing support for audits. The successful candidate will work independently and as part of a team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

  • Financial Reporting
    • Preparing financial statements and managing the general ledger
    • Performing account reconciliations and reviewing financial data
  • General Ledger Management
    • Managing the general ledger, including accounts payable and receivable
    • Recording and classifying financial transactions
  • Account Reconciliation
    • Performing account reconciliations, including bank and credit card statements
    • Reviewing and resolving discrepancies
  • Budget and Forecasting
    • Assisting with budget preparation and forecasting
    • Analyzing financial data and making recommendations
  • Compliance
    • Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations
    • Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and laws
  • Tax Return Preparation
    • Preparing tax returns for individuals and businesses
    • Ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations
  • Audit Support
    • Providing support for audits, including data collection and analysis
    • Communicating with auditors and stakeholders

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA certification or progress towards CPA
  • Experience in financial reporting, general ledger management, and account reconciliation
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
