Job Title: Performance Test Expert

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will be a seasoned performance test engineer with extensive experience in designing and executing non-functional tests using JMeter. The expert must possess excellent knowledge of Java/Python programming, API performance testing, and Agile/DevOps methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop workload models, test plans, and strategies for various types of performance tests, including load, stress, endurance, stability, resiliency tests.
  • Lead or assist in the design, development, and execution of custom scripts to automate testing tasks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and create detailed test cases.
  • Design and execute complex performance tests to evaluate system scalability and reliability under various loads.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot issues identified during testing, working closely with development teams to implement fixes.
  • Provide recommendations to improve system performance and optimize resource utilization.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to present test results and findings.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering.
  • Expert proficiency in JMeter and custom coding (JSR223 Scripting: Groovy, BeanShell, JavaScript) and knowledge of RegEx.
  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Java, and good understanding of cloud infrastructure.
  • Excellent knowledge of hardware and software architecture, network protocols, and database systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify root causes of performance issues.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
