Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead oligonucleotide synthesis and analytics for groundbreaking therapeutic and diagnostic programs.

About the Position:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a PhD-level expert to deliver precision-driven solutions in genomics and beyond. The ideal candidate will be central to driving cross-functional method development and QC initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Optimization: Run and troubleshoot automated solid-phase synthesis (detritylation–oxidation cycles).
  • Scaling Synthesis: Scale synthesis to mmol level (coupling efficiency >99%).
  • Purification and Characterization: Purify (HPLC, PAGE, CE) and characterize (LC-MS, UV-Vis, MS) oligos.
  • Lab Operations: Maintain lab instrumentation, inventory, safety, and SOPs.

Requirements:

  • Education: Ph.D. + 2–5 yrs in oligo synthesis and analysis.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong foundation in phosphoramidite chemistry, purification, analytics.
  • Bonus Qualifications: Experience with modified or therapeutic oligos, digital PCR/BEAMing.
